By Autumn
From the picture, I expected this tent to be blue, but it is actually green (like a camo green). I would have really preferred blue, but after reviewing the description again, they never promise that it is blue.Even though I carefully looking at the dimensions before purchasing, in person this tent is bigger than I expected. For most people is would be a plus. There is enough room for a parent and child to change clothes at the same time without difficulty. I was needing something fairly discrete to pop up next to the car so my toddler could use his to-go potty when there wasn't a bathroom handy. This will work for that but it is really way too big and will attract unwanted attention. On the other hand, it will be great for times when I'm not needing to be as discrete, like for kids to change clothes before/after sports games. It is good for what it is even though it isn't what I was hoping for. It pops up easily and after about 5 failed attempts (going by the picture on this page) it became VERY easy to put away. All you do is fold it flat into a triangle. Start with it flat on the ground. Don't try to do it in the air. Take the top of the triangle and fold it over until it touches the very bottom of the triangle. Take the 2 half-circles that are sticking up and push them together. (This much I figured out from the diagram.) Then you continue pushing the half-circles into each other while pushing the tip of the triangle into the middle. Immediately it folds down into the right size for the case and it doesn't bend the frame up like some other pop-up tents. The first few times it seemed impossible but once I got it, it worked for me every time.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the fabric has a VERY strong chemical smell and it isn't really opaque. On a rainy day or in the woods it would be plenty private enough but on a sunny day at the beach you would definitely be able to see the silhouette of someone changing clothes from the outside. It does, however, let in more light that I expected which is nice from the inside. I haven't used it yet so I don't know how long it will last but it doesn't seem to be a very rough-and-tough piece of equipment. The zipper is cheap and the seams look like they are of minimum acceptable quality.

I'm a photographer, and i'm using this as a dressing room for my engaged clients. Stands up on its own (with or without stakes), easy to use, lots of room, and inexpensive. Much cheaper than a "photographers changing room" and does the job just as well.
