By MacGruber
This tent is FANTASTIC. Plain and simple. I've owned it for almost a year now, and I have to say that you would have to pay me a lot to get a different tent. It is very quick and easy to set up. The pole design is superbly awesome. They're very sturdy and light, and are a convenient size for putting on the outside of your pack. When you're packing up, the provided stuff sack is the perfect size to actually STUFF it in to as well. It weighs an acceptable 4.8 pounds, and packs conveniently. Honestly, I can't find a single thing wrong with it. Buy this, and you will not regret it.

I purchased my Hubba Hubba from HumbleOutdoors for about $225.This is a great tent. I've owned it for about six months, and considering the price point, it is hard to beat. It super fast to set up. The pole design is a perfect feat of engineering. They're are light and solid, and can be mounted to the outside of my pack. Other fellow hikers are also very happy with the tent... a darn good value.

UPDATE 2/8/12: My model is from the year 2005. On a trip late 2011, I noticed the rain-fly was beginning to delaminate at the seam seals. I contacted Cascade Designs (owners of MSR) and they completely took care of the problem (they even paid for return shipping and the turnaround was less than a week), which they claimed had been a problem with my particular model. They really stand behind their products. I am happy to continue to buy their top-notch products.Original Review:Hands down the most comfortable backpacking tent I have ever used for the weight. My other backpacking tents are much lighter than this one, but when traveling with my sweetie, the HH is the way to go. Two people (one is 5'10", other is 5'2") can sit up right very comfortably, without touching the tent walls. It's also the easiest to set up I've used. It essentially has "one" pole, several sections are all shock-corded together. The all mesh upper of the tent body is really fun on a warm and clear night of stars in bug season. We've had it in some very heavy rains and moderate winds (probably about 25mph), no problems when staked out well. Haven't had it in the snow as I usually bring a lighter tent for snow trips. The dual doors are very nice as well as the vestibules.MSR tends to make quality products and this is no exception. Sealed seams, decent stakes (for dirt, not sand or snow) and overall quality construction. I've had this tent since 2005 and it looks brand new.My only gripe is the whole tent could easily be much lighter (my guess is at least 1 pound) if made with 1.3oz sil-nylon. For example, I'm not sure what the fly is made of, but it sure isn't 1.3oz anything, much heavier. I know at the time, larger mfr's (such as MSR) wouldn't use sil-nylon because of the flammability of sil-nylon, probably a liability thing. I have a Tarptent (made of 1.3oz sil-nylon) that weighs just under 2 lbs and have never had any fire issue with it...of course I dare not put my $$$ tents anywhere near a flame!PROS: Roomy, comfortable, moderately lightweight, quality construction, easy-peasy setupCONS: Could be even lighter with sil-nylon.
